Blue Laced

Male Plumage: Red-brown with blue markings; Head: Red-brown; Neck, Hackles and Saddle: Red-brown with distinct blue stripe down the centre of each feather (red-brown at centre of blue stripe is permissible), and free from blue tips or blue round the edging; Back and Shoulders: Red-brown, free from blue, or smutty blue; Wings: Bows – Red-brown; Wing coverts – evenly laced with blue, forming at least two well-defined bars; Secondaries – blue on the inner web, and wide Red-brown on the outer web, the edge laced with blue; Primaries – blue on inner web, and broadly laced Red-brown on outer edge; Breast and Thighs: The web Red-brown with well-defined blue lacing, free from double or outer, or blue or smutty marking, and regular from the throat to the back of the thighs; Undercolour: Blue; Tail: Solid blue, free from black or white; Fluff: Blue powdered with gold.

Female Plumage: Head, Neck and Hackle: As in the cock; Breast, back and thighs: Undercolour blue, web Red-brown with regular, well defined blue lacing, free from double or outer lacing, the lacing to extend to the back of the thighs into the fluff; Wings: Same as back on the broad portion; Secondaries and primaries as in the cock; Tail: As in the cock; Fluff: As in the cock.
